WHAT WE BELIEVE

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is God's inspired, infallible, and inerrant word to us. It is the final authority and standard for Christian beliefs, conduct, and living.

 

God

We believe that there is only one God who eternally exists as three persons:  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All three persons are equal and eternal.

 

Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Savior of the world. We believe in his deity, in his conception by the Holy Spirit, in his virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His vicarious and atoning death on a cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in his imminent personal return in power and great glory.

 

Salvation

We believe that the gift of eternal salvation can only be received by grace through personal faith in Jesus Christ. Mankind’s relationship with God, broken by our disobedience, can only be restored by spiritual regeneration by the Holy Spirit, through repentance from sin and the profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Christ’s substitutionary atonement is the only means of salvation.

 

Christian Living

We believe that God created mankind as two distinct sexes:  male and female and that each person affirms God’s infinite wisdom by living in alignment with their birth gender. 

 

We believe that marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment and is a sacred institution established by God.

 

We believe that since mankind is created in God’s image, human life is of inestimable worth and significance in all its dimensions, from conception to the grave.
