Member Care is defined by many mission organizations as

“the ongoing preparation, equipping and empowering of missionaries for effective and sustainable life, ministry, and work.”

11HCI is deeply committed to providing member care for the short term mission teams that we send to various locations, and for the career missionaries that we have a relationship with in different countries.

Member care includes providing spiritual and emotional training and support, ministry preparation and training, team building and cross-cultural skills, marriage and family consultation, and operational and emotional debriefing when missionaries are returning home from the mission field. These are just a few services related to member care.

Often, the Lord calls upon 11HCI to be a missionary to missionaries.  We must not only be committed to the work of the ministry, but we are also called and committed to serve the workers who do the ministry!
