The Trumpet Call For The 11th Hour Laborers - Brazil Mission Trip

Our Service in Brazil

Since it’s beginning, Project Amazon International has had an amazing goal of planting 100,000 churches in the Amazon Basin. Short-term missionary teams play a vital role in fulfilling this goal, helping with construction projects and also ministering the gospel in churches and in house groups located in various villages along the Amazon river. The
missionary team will typically travel by boat and four-wheel drive vehicles to reach remote villages. Throughout Brazil, people are very open to hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ!

Additionally, Gary serves as a board member for PAZ International, which is based in Brazil. In this role, there have been wonderful opportunities to preach and teach in many local churches representing PAZ in the countries of Brazil, Japan, Portugal, and Italy. PAZ’s vision of planting churches and making disciples began in the Amazon River Region of Brazil but now extends to many other countries.

One of the most remarkable developments in Brazil is seeing the commitment to Christ’s Great Commission, which began in 1976, being passed forward to successive generations. In 2022, Gary and Harriet were ministering at a missions conference with over 700 Brazilian missionaries in attendance, many of them serving in small village churches and communities spread throughout the Amazon River region. These
missionaries are the second and third generation of Brazilian missionaries that have been raised up in the PAZ movement, and they represent the  11th hour laborers that God is using in our day and time.
